Vintage Art Deco Jadeite & Vaseline HOUZE Glass Floor Bridge Lamp. Rewired

NOTE : I do not take best offers. Vintage Art Deco Jadeite & Vaseline "HOUZE" Glass Floor Bridge Lamp This measures approximately 61 at its highest point. The base measures approximately 9 square. The bridge holding the socket measures approximate 11 wide.

This did have a lamp shade but it was all torn up and I threw it away. The socket has grooves to screw on a lamp shade or whatever. Although I wiped it down I could have missed areas of dirt in hard to reach places.

Somebody had painted the metal areas with gold paint and there is a few spots of paint on the glass balls and 6 sided columns, but nothing bad. There are some cracks and chips on the glass Vaseline balls and green jadeite columns. But most of this minor damage is not noticeable unless you look at it closely.

I will try to show the worst areas of damage in the pictures. This is quite old and should not be expected to be perfect.

This is an utilitarian item meant to serve a purpose i. Not Because there is anything wrong with it but merely as with all utilitarian items they go through extensive use and develop minor imperfections and are not perfect the way they were fresh from the manufacturing company as opposed to decorative collectibles that are often kept in a display case merely for visual appreciation. It has been rewired and works great. Some of the green jadeite columns as I will call them, and Vaseline glass balls were not lined up exactly to the grooves that held them but they are not offline very bad.

The bottom has a number that says B36L. Although with some research I found that the glass balls and columns were most likely made by houze art glass company. The light bulb is not included.
