Vintage Art Deco Frosted Glass Lamp, Very Retro, Mid Century Glass Shade, Cool

Offered is one of the coolest Art Deco Lamps I've seen in a long time. This vintage Mid Century Lamp is made completely out of Frosted Glass! Check out the wonderful fins that are on all sides of the Lamp base.

The design on the base of the Lamp is Octagonal and has a star like pattern on the top of it. This lamp looks like it is made out of ice! It was airbrushed lightly in Navy Blue accents. The Shade is also made completely of glass, It is quite heavy. The shade is ribbed and scalloped and reminds me of a Circus Tent.

It too was airbrushed lightly in blue. I attempted to wash the lamp and the blue started coming off on the paper towel.

I immediately stopped washing the lamp. Apparently the airbrushed blue is water soluble. I left it alone and I'll let the new owner decide on what to do with it.

Either leave it as is or maybe remove the blue? Anyway, the lamp measures about 13 1/4 from the base to the tip of the metal Finial. The finial is a 3 tiered stack of cylinders.

I see no chips or cracks on this wonderful Art Deco Lamp. (Well, there is a small chip where the final screws on the lamp shade, which is quite typical).
