TIFFANY STUDIOS L. C. T. FAVRILE DECORATED ART GLASS SHADE EXCEPTIONAL

Next up for your consideration is an Original Tiffany Studios L. Favrile Damascene Art Glass Shade.

This beautiful dome shade is 7 inches in diameter with a 2 1/8 inch fitter rim diameter with a height of 4 1/2 inches. There are no cracks nor chips on this shade, even the fitter rim is free of chips. This delicately ribbed favrile glass dome shade has a nice vibrant green iridescence with strong, violet, blue, green iridescent highlights throughout.

The inside of the shade is lined with an ivory opalescent. It is in almost pristine condition. The inside lining of the shade has a light carbon streak, as you can see in the photos. This was done in the manufacturing of the shade. The wonderful wave design of this shade can be referenced in the Robert Koch Book, Glass - Bronzes - Lamps, on page 60, plate 66.
