Rare c. 1880s Rubina Plum Opalescent Art Glass 14 inch Hanging Oil Lamp Shade NR

Outstanding shade in an unusually rare color. Shade is Rubina in color having clear glass at the top fading to cranberry glass at the bottom. This example has an opalescent layer over top of the bottom half of the shade creating a sort of plum color. Piece is in excellent condition with No chips, cracks or other damages.

There may be some very faint surface scratches from age and use. Stands just under 6 inches tall. Bottom rim is appr 13 7/8 inch wide outside to outside and top rim is right at 6 inches outside to outside.
