Rare Antique Art Deco Custard Vaseline Glass Shade Polychrome Decal Pendant Lamp

C e l es ti a l N o n e s u ch. An antique hexagonal custard Vaseline / Uranium glass pendant lamp. This piece has raised panels which feature a stunning and vibrant fired-on polychrome design, quintessentially Art Deco. This is a rare gem, and will make such a fantastic focal point for the Art Deco collector. Exhibits signs of age such as light surface wear. There are a few fleabites on the top fitter, as well as chips and roughness around the bottom, very common for glass shades of this age. The motif retains much of its original coloring.

Brass hardware has developed a rich patina, as well as some areas of light discoloration / tarnishing. There is some discoloration on the bottom of the rim, as well as a spot on the inside of the shade which are possibly from production. The cloth wrapped wire is probably original to the piece, but would need to be replaced before use.
