Handsome PAIR of decorator table lamps here... These would look awesome in some type of Miami Modern, Hollywood Regency, Beach-inspired interior.
I'd put them 80 to 100 years old. Original cloth wiring, and it works, but the wiring is sketchy and frayed in areas. I would not use these lamps before first rewiring them. They also have tobacco use residue on the glass, it comes off but I think you have to be careful what you use to get it off so as not to harm the paint. They are old, yet I do not believe they are original to these lamps.
I say that because of how they look with the lamps, and these lamps each have a beautiful bronze finial. These shades make it so you can't see the finial, and that would have never been the case originally. They are 15" barrel shades tapered from a 12" diameter top, down to a 14 diameter bottom. Let me know if you make an offer, if you want the shades or not. 6 square metal base, with a smaller square white onyx square on top... Footed brass piece rests on that onyx that holds the 4 diameter bristol or opaline painted glass column lamp body. Beautiful Art Deco in style light green leaves with gold applied leaves around the base. The applied gold on one lamp... The other lamp retains about 90% of it's applied gold. Overall height from table to top of finial is 36. And those finials are patina'd, heavy and ring like bronze. These is a quality pair from some time ago.. And remember, if you don;t want the shades, I'll accept a slightly better offer.
