Just out of a local smoke free house is this antique Art Nouveau leaded table lamp. It has curved caramel glass panels that have fiery opalescent highlights with a granite back surface. They are accented with green and red Art Nouveau style sections between the top and bottom panels. The leading has a gold finish. The cast iron base also with an Art Nouveau design has a brown bronze finish.
The shade holder has a gold or brass finish. The lamp is unmarked except for some numbers cast into the bottom of the base. The pull chain socket is marked Bryant and has a patent date of Nov.
The lamp stands about 21 3/4 inches tall and measures about 16 3/8 inches wide. The shade alone measures about 16 3/8 inches wide and about 8 1/2 inches high. The shade is in remarkable condition. There are no broken or cracked glass panels or pieces. The only issue we could find with the shade is that one of the inside support rods has broken loose. This could be resoldered but it does not affect the lamps function or stability. There is also some normal wear to the gold finish on the leading. The base is in good condition with only some normal light wear, and some oxidation spots. The lamp was rewired years ago and the electrics work well. See photos as they are part of the description. Would make a nice addition to any collection and is guaranteed as described. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Lamps, Lighting\Lamps".
