An truly outstanding beautiful original super rare very large antique Wilkinson partners desk lamp in very good condition. Extremely heavy for its size. This lamp has a big presence even in a large room. Wilkinson was one of the finest makers of leaded glass and panel lamps of that era, there casting was second to none. The slag glass in this shade is truly outstanding full of color and fire that is often missing in other lamps the photos don't do it any justice. This lamp has most of its original components even retaining the original Hubbell turn key sockets, final and bake-o-lite wall plug. The casting and overall quality of this lamp is very fine far beyond most. All of the very finely cast metal overlay work is in very good condition with nothing replaced or repaired.
On the lower corners of the shades there are 6 of the 16 little tear drops that are missing that will go unnoticed. One of the little tracks came lose that holds a glass panel in place on the lower portion of one shade that was resoldered back into place. The original finish has mostly worn away but it has developed its own patina that presents very well.
The original Hubbell turn key light sockets are in perfect working order. From the front shade corner to the rear shade corner is 15 across.
