McKee Danse De Lumiere Art Deco Glass Lamp Nude

The lamp is pure deco in style and is so reminiscent of the French Deco dancers of the Folies Bergere, Paris. The lamp shows a naked lady in a graceful pose with arms stretched out and at either side she holds what look to be her robe opened with the pattern of peacock feathers being displayed. The bulb is located in a frosted base of the lamp and while it's recommended a low wattage bulb is used it still highlights the beauty of the figure and the detail of the design. It also equally as stunning in daylight, especially when displayed against a window. The base of the lamp is styled as what looks like a draped curtain running around the entire bottom of the base. This gives the impression that the lady is standing on a stage. The dimensions are 11 1/2" high 10" wide 4 3/4 deep.
