It features three little indentations for the lamp cord to clear the lamp base on a flat surface. The top of the lamp features a copper or brass aperture that would have held the blown glass lampshade. There are screws that hold the actual aperture to the glass piece. The on/off is a dial on the cord. It stands approximately 11" tall with a base diameter of 5".

The shade aperture is a diameter of 6 from side to side. It is a gorgeous piece of art nouveau.
