Jadeite Orb Streamline Art Deco Lamp c. 1939 RESTORED

This unusual Art Deco lamp dates to the late 1930's. The design evokes a strong sense of motion: the essence of streamline design.

The jadeite green glass top half of the sphere is translucent. Whether it is true jadeite is unknown. Regardless, it is certainly a striking contrast with the aluminum base. The lamp has been restored and refurbished and is ready for contemporary use. The aluminum base and bottom hemisphere have been machine polished. The original jadeite green painted ring inset in the base is intact and in excellent condition.

The original socket interior has been refurbished with new like kind. Wiring has been refurbished with new old stock fabric covered cord and appointed with a new vintage style plug. This lamp utilizes a standard medium base Edsion bulb (E26). Light bulb is not included. I suggest a small profile globe style bulb such as a G16.5.

Approximate dimensions are as follows. Height to top of finial: 10. General and critical photos have been provided and are a part of the description for this offering.
