ITALIAN Murano VETRI VENINI Swirl Glass GLOBE LIGHT SHADE Round White Mushroom

An art glass lamp shade or ceiling pendant light shade in swirled glass. Believed to be by Venini glass, Italy.

Wires and light fitting are only for demonstration, and are not included. The top opening is 41mm / approx 1 and 5/8 inches across The lower opening is 121mm / approx 4 and 6/8 inches across. The shade height is around 17.5cm / 7 inches. No breaks to the glass. There are a few light scuffs contained within a 3cm area, each mark being 2mm or 3mm in length.

On the inside of the top rim there are what looks like flakes that are textured but smoothed over. They appear to be from original manufacture and do not affect the function of the shade. The photos are a mixture of: The shade in natural light (sadly, very low at this time of year), in low natural light with a bright bulb held inside the camera compensated for the bright light by making the rest of the room appear dark! , and raised up to better show the shape (in natural light). All sides have been photographed, including a close-up of the scuff marks.
