The on/off keyhole switch did not work. The lamp does light up when plugged in but the switch is loose I assume and did not turn it off. Some minimal age tarnish on metal but nothing major and no pitting. It is aprox 19 1/2" to 20" tall to the top of the ruffled rim on shade and aprox 10 1/2 wide across widest part of shade.
I don't know if the frosted chimney is original or not but I think it has been on it for a while. Some of these I've seen have prisms around the metal band at base of shade, this one does not, but it does have holes in the tiny sawtooth type bottom of band to add them if desired.
