Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a beautiful example of a Duffner & Kimberly Pompeian lamp.
It is pictured in Paul Crist's book Mosaic Shades II on page 187 (photo 12 shows this partial page). Its just a beautiful overall lamp. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that the glass is all original and there are maybe 1 or 2 small cracks here and there in the green petals. The shade is 16" in diameter and the lamp stands 21 1/2" tall. The simple colonial style base has its original patina finish and sockets and has been wired with period style cloth braided cord. Folks, nice floral lamps from Duffner & Kimberly do not come up all that often and I can honestly say that you won't find one in as nice or in as original condition as this one. If you have ever wanted a great example of a true Duffner & Kimberly Pompeian lamp, this may be the one for you. Thanks, and please see my other listings for other great lamps from this period.
If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this.
It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that's fine. The item "Duffner & Kimberly Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Glass Lamp Handel Tiffany Era" is in sale since Sunday, August 4, 2019.
