This is going to be a lot of bang for the buck folks. The base measures 26 inches tall and the shade is 22 and ½ inches wide. The base in excellent original patina throughout and damage free.

It is signed with the b and h triangle logo near the top of the cluster and its been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord. This is one of my favorite b and h bases and it doesnt resemble any other makers by any stretch. Its in a class of its own.

The shade with great glass coloration throughout and it lights up way better than my photos provide. All the leading tight and right on the shade and its not missing any glass segements. There are, as to be expected of a shade this large, some tight age cracks here and there throughout. These do not detract from the overall appearance of the shade but I mention them because they are present. Not easy to see by any stretch, but I would say around a dozen or so.

Recently I have been putting different lighting on with reserves and no reserves. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well. Horseheads ny to Detroit mi , Detroit mi to Chicago il , Chicago il to Indianapolis In to Cincinnati oh , Cincinnati oh to Pittsburgh pa , Pittsburgh to Washington dc , Washington dc to manhattan ny , manhattan ny to boston ma, boston ma to Albany ny, Albany ny to buffalo ny.

Please Check out my other items! Some great Bradley Hubbard, Tiffany, Handel, etc. Chances are if there aren't any, it's a newer item and you shouldn't want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable.

I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. There are a few things in life we cant do without. Food, water, fire, oxygen, the sun, shelter etc. So when it comes to shelter and necessary light for it, thats where I come in. I believe in living simply and within my means but surrounded by items of great quality.

Of and the wasteful utilities that go along with that. So why is it people go out and spend. Not to mention you got the same usage for that entire time period? This makes infinitely more financial sense than the other choice, plus you have a conversation piece in the room and something to be proud of. Also you have more cultural feeling invested in something 100 years old knowing that it can never be duplicated by modern making techniques and knowing there a few, if any, like it left for this world and now its yours.

You display it and care for it. So again thats where I come in. Great period lighting when electricity was still in its infancy. When makers like Bradley and Hubbard, Handel, Tiffany studios, Pairpoint, and others cared about quality, appearance, and function.

When makers were trying to outdo one another with this new business boom of electric lighting. When we went from whale and kerosene oil lamps and gas, to electric. This is when the best lamps in the world were manufactured and the ones I want to light my home with when its dark. I cant control the sun or the amount of light it provides or when it comes up or goes down, and whether its cloudy or not, but I can control the light in my home when its dark. And like I said earlier, I want nice rugs, paintings, pottery, furniture, etc.

And I want to see those items lit by great lighting. Its what makes a home more outstanding and livable because without it you see absolutely nothing. A quality lamp makes or breaks a room. You can have the best rugs, furniture, paintings, and accessories in the world, but without great lamps or lighting nobody will ever see it.
