I have never seen this style of b and h base before and same goes for the shade. This is a great lamp folks and its in great original condition as well. The base measures 22 and ½ inches tall and the shade is 18 and ½ inches wide. The base all original including the four sockets consisting of all Bryant sockets with their satellite pulls. Original patina throughout; the only thing we did was rewire it because the old cord was not safe so we added this nice period style cloth cord and old style plug. The only thing that is slighty an issue is there is 2-3 very very small dings that you have to look pretty hard for to see.

Others fall apart over nothingness like this so mention them solely for accuracy sake as they dont detract from the overall appearance whatsoever but they are there for the superpicky. I would call them character marks for a base 100 years old. The shade without issue, no broken or lose segments, no leading losses, no damaged areas, everything tight and right. Please notice how nice it lights up because that is really something which is why I kept it in my house for so long.

Simply a great period arts and crafts style lamp from one of the best makers there ever was. Please Check out my other items!

Some great Bradley Hubbard, Tiffany, Handel, etc. Please see my other quality lighting items currently running. Chances are if there aren't any, it's a newer item and you shouldn't want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable.

I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. There are a few things in life we cant do without. Food, water, fire, oxygen, the sun, shelter etc.

So when it comes to shelter and necessary light for it, thats where I come in. I believe in living simply and within my means but surrounded by items of great quality. Of and the wasteful utilities that go along with that.

So why is it people go out and spend. Not to mention you got the same usage for that entire time period? This makes infinitely more financial sense than the other choice, plus you have a conversation piece in the room and something to be proud of. Also you have more cultural feeling invested in something 100 years old knowing that it can never be duplicated by modern making techniques and knowing there a few, if any, like it left for this world and now its yours. You display it and care for it.

So again thats where I come in. Great period lighting when electricity was still in its infancy. When makers like Bradley and Hubbard, Handel, Tiffany studios, Pairpoint, and others cared about quality, appearance, and function.

When makers were trying to outdo one another with this new business boom of electric lighting. When we went from whale and kerosene oil lamps and gas, to electric. This is when the best lamps in the world were manufactured and the ones I want to light my home with when its dark. I cant control the sun or the amount of light it provides or when it comes up or goes down, and whether its cloudy or not, but I can control the light in my home when its dark.

And like I said earlier, I want nice rugs, paintings, pottery, furniture, etc. And I want to see those items lit by great lighting.

Its what makes a home more outstanding and livable because without it you see absolutely nothing. A quality lamp makes or breaks a room. You can have the best rugs, furniture, paintings, and accessories in the world, but without great lamps or lighting nobody will ever see it.
