Here's a beautiful art nouveau solid brass swan neck lamp with an authentic Loetz shade! The lamp is in great working order with new plug, wiring and switch. It has a bayonet bulb/socket and provides gentle light. The neck articulates at two points and the fitter holder is heavy ornate brass. The shade is a lightly iridescent, three-lobed candia shade with spreading green.
It is decorated with silver/blue threads that are pulled into a lovely chevron pattern. It reflects gold and purple colors. The shade shape is documented PN II-2/677 as seen in Lnenicova's reference book. The pattern is similar to Loetz's Phanomen Gre 7801 pattern differing only in the base color.
This decor has not yet been identified. The shade has a 2.25" fitter rim and is 5.75" wide x 4.25 tall. The lamp base is solid brass and about 10" wide x11" tall. The cord is braided cloth with an antique-style acorn plug. I selected this base and shade for the great way they reflect each other's three-lobed shape. The shade is approx ca.
