She is a true antique with patent dates of 1893 and 1895. (Apr 11 93, Apr 30 95).
Beautiful painted landscape scenes and a girl on a bench at the lake. The colors are pastel pink, blue and yellow on a white background with green and brown details in the scenes as well. She is a kerosene / oil lamp that was converted to electric at some point in her history, has great wiring and is ready for years of enjoyment to come. You could even restore her back to an oil lamp if desired, as there are no holes in the font, the cap screws off for filling, and the wick still lowers and raises well inside (see pics showing this). There are no chips or cracks in the milk glass or glass chimney. Light wear to the paint on the cast iron base, and nice patina on the brass. She uses one standard-base light bulb up to 60 watts, or use a "flicker flame" bulb for ambience, or an LED bulb for any brightness you like. 23 1/4 to the top of the glass chimney.
13 3/4 to the bottom of the socket. Approximately 8 across the widest point of the glass. You're going to LOVE her! Please see all photos for detailed description.
