FOR YOUR ATTENTION & CONSIDERATION: A GENUINE SAMPLE OF AN ART NOUVEAU ERA, CIRCA 1885 - 1910. LARGE KEROSENE LAMP (24' TO THE TOP OF THE CHIMNEY) MADE BY BRADLEY & HUBBARD (METAL BASE), WITH MASTERFULLY HAND PAINTED, IN A "PRIMITIVE- FAIRY-TAIL" STYLE, BIG GLASS GLOBE (10 IN DIAMETER). THE LAMP IS IN A VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE GLASS GLOBE HAS NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR REPAIRS, RETAINS IT'S ORIGINAL METAL HEAT RING ON TOP. THE METAL BASE HAS AN ORIGINAL, PATINATED FINISH WITH SOME SCRATCHES AND SCUFFS CONSISTENT WITH AGE. THE ORIGINAL METAL FLORAL APPLICATIONS ARE VERY ELEGANT AND DISPLAY A LILY FLOWER, THE SAME KIND, THAT ARE PAINTED ON THE GLOBE. THE METAL BASE STILL MAINTAINS ALL OF IT'S ORIGINAL PARTS AND COMPONENTS, INCLUDING THE CENTRAL HOLDER BOLT AND NUT, METAL BOX, SPILL RING AND THE B&H KEROSENE FONT WITH THE ORIGINAL FLAME SPREADER, THAT COMES OUT FOR THE LIGHT BULB. THE LAMP IS VERY GENTLY ELECTRIFIED WITH NO DAMAGE DONE TO IT'S METAL PARTS AND LOOKS STUNNING WHEN LIT. Our unique collection of American "gone with the wind" lamps took many years to form. It is now for sale and currently awaiting new owner. Most of the lamps in our collection are impossible to find for sale anywhere. Qualified buyers will be invited to view and inspect the collection in person.
