Antique R. Williamson Leaded Slag Art Glass Floral Lamp Handel Tiffany Era

Here's a beautiful leaded glass lamp made by the Richard Williamson company of Chicago. This all over rose floral is an excellent example of their work, showing just how beautiful glass can look when it is arranged just properly. I will let my pictures do the talking for this one, and as you can see no real description is even needed. Just an all out beautiful lamp that lights up with great fire and beauty. This is a large lamp with a 20" shade that stands over 27" tall.

The shade is bright and colorful and is in excellent overall condition. I see maybe 7 or 8 small breaks, but nothing serious. The base is cast iron with its original gold wash finish. It has its original matching sockets which are dated June 12,'99 (which in this case is clearly 1899). Williamson company did not sign their bases or shades, but they did use a very characteristic fully split cluster on their bases which this one has. This base has been wired with period style, gold cloth braided cord and a nice old plug. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me.
