Antique Mission Arts And Crafts Newel Post Lamp

Here is a gorgeous antique Mission Arts and Crafts newel post lamp with a square design. The lamp is in excellent condition with a nice patina to the brass. The lamp with the shades measures 29 1/2" tall and is 16" wide. The large top shade is 4 1/4" tall and 6" wide with a 4 fitter. The four smaller shades are 4 1/4" tall and are 3 1/2" wide with 2 1/4 fitter.

The shades are frosted on one side and smooth on the other. The shades are all in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The lamp itself is brass with a square design and has early Perkins paddle switches. I know this was mounted on a newel post because if you look at the bottom, you can see where the screw holes at the edges of the base where I had to unscrewed to remove it.

I may still have the long mounting screws that were used to mount it to the base of the newel. The lamp has been rewired with new cloth covered wire and makes a gorgeous table lamp. Please see and expand photos for further condition assessments.
