Antique J A Whaley Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Art Glass Handel Era Lamp

Here's a really nice floral boarder leaded slag glass lamp that I believe was made by the J A Whaley compay. It is not signed and I have no way to tell for sure, but I have owned the exact Whaley base before and the shade is reminiscent of the style that they made. Regardless of who made it, this is one great lamp. It uses a combination of curved caramel slag glass panels in the top which end at a magnificent floral boarder of bright red 5-petal flowers. Very nice lamp with great presence, especially when the lit! It is a large table lamp with an 18" diameter shade that stands 25" tall. It is in very good overall condition with one small barely noticeable crack in one of the upper panes (as shown) and a few more in the floral boarder. The 4-socket base has matching Hubbell sockets with acorn ended pull chains and has been wired with period style cloth braided cord.

This is a great example of a very colorful leaded glass lamp that I believe was made by the J A Whaley company sometime in the early 1900's.
