Antique Arts and Crafts Slag Glass Lamp With Lighted Base. This anituqe lamp is in very good original condition with some age related wear. One of the panels of the shade had cracked and was repaired. The repairs were done well and the cracks are only noticeably when looking closesly at that panel (see photo #10).

Two of the tabs holding one of the panels in place broke off leaving the panel to be a bit loose in the shade and creating a gap (see photo # 11). The best fix for this is to solder in a new metal tab to secure this panel. One of the socets has been replaced at some point so one of the chains is different and hangs lower than the other with a differnt style end piece. Aside from these defects, the lamp is in very good shape, complete, and original.

The base panels are in very good condition with no breakage. All shade panels are in good condition with no breakage except for the one in photo #10.

The lamp has an older cord, but inside the base it has a very old cloth cord with some frays in it. This cord needs to be addressed by a competent electrician before using this lamp. Both sockets work properly as does the light inside the base. The lamp meausures about 22" tall with an 18" diameter shade. These antique slag glass table lamps have so much character and make a great addition to a home.

This is an authentic and functional piece. Before use you will need to have a competent electrician rewire it.

This is an easy job for a competent electician and necessary as there is old cloth electrical cord with some frays present. This poses a fire and shock risk.
