Antique Art Nouveau Slag Glass Six Curved Panel Electric Table Lamp

Antique Art Nouveaux curved six-panel slag glass table lamp with ornate overlay and cast base. The shade is 16.5 in diameter, 5 high and weighs just over six pounds. The overlay features a flower and vine motif around the rim with delicate lattace-work on each panel that rises to an intricate cap. All six panels are intact with no chips, scratches, or scuffs.

The metal base has a bead course at the bottom followed by a vine and acanthus level going up to a radiating bellflower course and a reed column. It stands 20 tall including the triple-bail shade holder. It has a diameter of 7.25 and weighs about 3.25 pounds. It has one up-right lamp socket with a paddle on/off knob. The lamp has been rewired and is in good working order. All the lamp parts appear to be original. The shade rests securely on the base seat.

The lamp base shows normal aging with a rich patina with no dents, breaks, scratches or missing pieces. There are no visible manufacturers marks on either the base or the shade but the design is consistent with the Miller Lamp Company designs.
