Art Deco Parrott glass electric lights. Two of them are hanging lights, and one fits into a housing that mounts to the ceiling. They are all very beautiful with depictions of parrotts perched next to each other on blossoming spring-time branches. 2 Hanging lights = 8" wide x 6" tall with a 4 opening (you can see this in the picture, so you know how to replace the light bulb).

1 Light is round an pointed in the center and measures 10" wide x 5" tall, and has a silver colored metal electrical base. These lights are likely from the 1920's. The 2 hanging lights have their original socket fixtures, but no chain to hang them from. They DO NOT come with electrical cords. You must have them rewired and brought up to code.

Both of the hanging lights have Hubble branded socket covers, but only one has it's original switch. The other socket is missing the internal workings, so you'd have to take this to an electrician/lamp repair shop for replacement. Also the larger round 10 light needs to be rewired. And, as you can see, they're glowing!

Note: there is very little surface ware on 2 of the lamps (1 of the hanging lamps and the ceiling mounted one), and these lamps also have their original iridescent finish to them. So, there's an actually "rainbow" iridescence to them when the light is off. You can see this in the picture of the glass shade with the tape measure showing the 4 opening.

The iridescent finish is in a "swirl" pattern all over the the light. One of the hanging lamps has lost it's finish, and I'm wondering if that is because it was used & washed several times. Sometimes finishes like that are "flashed" on glass & can literally be wiped off the glass.

However, they're still beautiful when light as you cannot see the iridescent finish when they're illuminated, only when they are turned off. It appears that these 2 hanging lights must have had some type of chain at one point. And I don't know if they also had some type of "safety feature" to ensure that the weight of the light didn't pull out of the socket causing the shade to come crashing down if the socket pulled out of the lamp, again another question for your electrician. I have tried to research these and haven't had much luck.

Maybe you'll know more about them and can tell me. Note: I took pictures with a flash & without so that you could see the glass shades in different light. I had lower wattage bulbs in them, and had a 40 watt in the hanging lamps and a 60 watt in the ceiling mounted fixture, so that there wasn't glare on the camera.
