An absolutely divine and exceedingly rare original Diana lamp from the 1930's graced with a superb fluted and scalloped base in gleaming chrome surmounting a mottled deep chocolate brown bakelite foot a particularly spectacular example for the discerning collector. Standing at 58cm tall, the lamp features an extremely well-cast Diana figurine surmounted by a stepped chrome feature supporting the chrome gallery, and a chrome push-bar switch with bakelite on/off buttons. The exceptionally impressive visual impact of this amazing Diana lamp is even more greatly enhanced by its truly extraordinary pale lime green cased glass Skyscraper shade, triple-tiered and with vertical rounded fluting in perfect harmony with the chrome base.

Recently rewired for your safety with high quality antique-style braided black cord, the lamp still retains its dark brown bakelite plug. All over immaculate condition the chrome is gleaming bright and shiny and the bakelite has no chips, cracks or other flaws. The Diana figurine has only a very few of the usual casting marks typical to all sand-castings of the era. The shade is in perfect condition.
