It was one of only two American companies that specialized in hand-molded, handcrafted metal sculptural figurines. It produced centerpieces, desk sets, paperweights, trophies, and collectible items cast in lead or zinc, notably including the first-ever Academy Award of Merit "Oscar" statuette in the 1920s.
The lamp measures 17 inches high to the top of the shade or 12-1/2 inches to the top of the ladies figurine. It is about 9 inches wide at the base. It is heavy, weighing about 13 lbs.
The lamp turns on and off with a pull style chain. One small screw is missing from where the lamp shade is held in place (there are two in place).
