Vintage Bird Desk Lamp With Quezal Art Glass Shade

Here's a fantastic mixed age Art Nouveau/Art Deco lamp. The base is cast and forged iron with the birds still showing remnants of brown and blue/grey cold painting on the body and wings. The base appears to be about 1930-40. The shade holder is GIM Metal Products, Inc ca. The original toggle switch was ca.

1940 but not safe to use so it was replaced. The current iteration has been put back into safe working order with a new toggle switch, new keyless socket, new cloth covered wiring and a new, clean felt bottom. The shade is a marked Quezal aurene shade. No chips to the mouth but some tiny (2mm) chips to the 2.25 fitter rim. 15" tall x 8" dia.
