TIFFANY STUDIOS ORIGINAL SIGNED NAUTILUS LAMP NO RESERVE

Tiffany Studios Nautilus Lamp Natural shell, bronze New York, early 20th century Scalloped. Base and Y-shaped shaft topped by a polished nautilus shell fitted with a single socket, metal loop at base allows the lamp to be hung as a wall sconce. Appears to have original two-wire cord and plug. Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company mark and 29740 Tiffany Studios New York.

Alistair Duncan, Tiffany Lamps and Metalware (Woodbridge: Antique Collectors' Club, 2007), p. General marks, scratches and rubbing to surface commensurate with age and use. There is an approximately two inch hairline running back from the rim of the shell.
