TIFFANY STUDIOS L. C. T. FAVRILE ART GLASS SHADE NICE

Next up for your consideration is an Original Tiffany Studios L. Favrile Damascene Art Glass Shade.

This beautiful dome shade is 7 inches in diameter with a 2 1/8 inch fitter rim and a height of 4 1/8 inches. This wonderful favrile art glass shade has a superb green iridescence with excellent purple and amber highlights throughout. This shade looks great both lit and unlit.

The inside of the shade is lined with an ivory opalescent. The shade would be in perfect condition but for two small chips in fitter rim, (please see photos). The wonderful wave design of this shade can be referenced in the Robert Koch Book, Glass - Bronzes - Lamps, on page 60, plate 66. It is properly signed L C T Favrile on the inside of the fitter rim.
