Handel Arts Crafts Leaded Slag Glass Antique Vintage Bradley Hubbard Era Lamp

I have for sale this incredible and twice signed Handel supersized lamp. This is about as good as it gets for Handel leaded folks and please note that I have 3 bulbs lighting this shade up, and all 3 are only little nothing 7 watt bulbs. That's how good this glass is in this shade. The base measures 27.5 inches tall and the shade is 24 inches wide, so this is a supersized lamp folks. The base without issue, which means no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order.

It has a three socket cluster and it's been recently rewired with correct period style cloth cord and old plug. All three sockets being the original hubbells. The original patina excellent throughout. This is a very heavy and well made Handel base.

The shade in original condition with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. A few stray tight age cracks, 2-3 or so, here or there as would be expected for a leaded shade such as, especially with the shade having several hundred pieces in the making process such as this. The glass vibrant and alive as the pictures show and all the leading intact. Great glass here folks with some nice dirt in the striations of the glass and with very nice patina on the leading throughout as well.

The leading tight and right as well throughout. The shade also with a very desirable curved top downward and then again towards the bottom of which this would then be called a double curve shade. This one done for two reasons. One, being attractiveness of course, but Two, because the shade is so large, the lower heavier portion around the bottom needs support from above thus the double curve for better structural support for a 24 inch shade. Please see the size comparison photo with this lamp up against an average sized Handel. This should give you some perspective lol. You will not very often see a 24 inch leaded Handel shade, let alone in this condition.

Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves.
