Features a superb multi-stepped chrome base, a stepped gallery support and stepped chrome gallery with semi-spherical chrome screw-finials. A myriad of bold triangular facets, each facet delineated by clear glass lines to better accentuate each of the 25 points of the star. The lamp is in absolutely superb condition, the chrome is gleaming bright and mirror-like, the bakelite inline switch and plug glossy and completely free from chips or cracks. As with the majority of these sand-castings of the era, the Diana figurine has the typical minuscule surface pinpricks and the usual casting marks, perceptible only on extremely close scrutiny. The shade is in perfect condition with only a small shallow flake to the collar, invisible when in place.
